Story "A Bag Of Gold"
A BAG OF GOLD
Once there were three bosom friends. They lived in a village. They always played and chatted together. However, all the three were very greedy. They were jobless. They decided to go to a city to find some job to earn their livelihood. One day, they set out on a journey to try their luck in a city. They promised to stand by one another through thick and thin. They had to pass through a forest While passing through the forest, all of s a sudden , they found a bag of a full of golden coins. They felt very happy. They sat down and started to count the coins. They decided to divide them equally among themselves. But each wished in his heart of heart to have all the coins himself. They were feeling very hungry. Therefore, they sent one of them to bring some food from the city. On the way to the city, the man thought that he should have all the coins. So he decided to kill his two friends. He brought some poison and mixed it into the food of his other two friends. While in his absence, the other two friend planned to kill him and divide the coins between themselves equally. When he reached them with food, they killed him. Then they sat and ate the poisoned food. Soon after taking the food, they felt severe pain in their stomachs and died before dividing the coins.
